Lori Mitchell-Gay

Lori Mitchell-Gay is a talented, versatile accomplished performer and entertainer. She has graced the stages all over the US and the world.
Her humble beginnings were cultured in the church choir in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA.
She attended The High School for the Creative and Performing Arts where she majored in theater and dance. Lori received a scholarship to attend Emerson College in Boston, then later transferred to Temple University were she majored in broadcast journalism.
Her professional career began with several top-forty bands including one that allowed her the privilege of performing for the USO ,overseas and abroad.
Her exposure and experience helped her to perfect and polish her style and stage presence, and she has applied it to appearances on television and radio. Lori has lent her talent to many musical and theatrical productions such as, Nights On Broadway ll and lll, The Wiz, Purlie, Godspell and Working, just to name a few. Her voice can be heard on several compilation CD’s with recording artist such as Janice McClain, Billy Fellows, Rudy Gay and Rob Weird.
Lori says she does her best work “ on stage” “when you bring a smile or a tear , if that’s what your going for, to the faces of your audience, its an amazing gift ad an incredible feeling”.
